Şebnem Ergül is an experienced HR trainer, human resources manager and consultant, ethics expert and co-active coach. Ergül started her  carreer  as a trainer in T. İş Bankası A.Ş in 1987.

 

She began to work in Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE)  as an Inspector in 1991. She worked as Human Resources Manager between 1995-2011 in ISE  and she took retirement from ISE in December 2011.

 

She wrote a masters thesis on “ The Comparison of Turkish and European Capital Markets In  Transition To European Union” and her book “Personnel Management” was published by ISE in 1996.

 

She has participated in the programs Ethics Officer and Training of the Trainers given by Ethics Resource Center’s Chief Advisor Frank Navran, has worked on the translation of these programs into Turkish and also participated in the Turkish training programs in 2005.  She was an executive council member of TEDMER from 2004-2008.

 

Şebnem Ergül functioned as Ethics Council Member in Personnel Management Association from 2004-2010 and while in that role, she contributed to the generation of ethics guidelines and other regulations.

 

As a current member of Personnel Management Association, she’s been taking part in various workgroups within the association. She is currently a member of Occupational Standards Committee.

 

Şebnem Ergül, who is continuing her work on total quality management and has made many presentations on the subject, has been functioning as an assessor in National Quality Awards organized jointly by TUSIAD and KALDER for the past 10 years.
